INTRODUCTION 

This was my ninth week of school teaching practice. I reached school everyday on time and signed attendance register. Other than curricular activities I took part in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

On September 29,I had class at 8 C and took the topic gas pressure and factors affecting gas pressure from the chapter Pressure in the fourth and fifth period.

On October 3,I had class at 8 C and took the topic Characteristics of metals from the chapter Metals and Non Metals and also had class at 9 C and took the topic Newton's second law of Motion from the chapter Laws of motion in the fourth period.

On October 4, I had class at 9 C and took the topic Second law of Motion ( Problems ) and Impulsive force and Impulse of force from the chapter Laws of Motion in the second and fifth period.

🧩 I had class management at 5 B, 6 A, and 7 A

🧩Conducted SAY exams for students who failed in Onam examination at 9 A, 8 C and 10 B

WEEKLY REFLECTION

 

On the thirty eight day (29/09/2025).I conducted Achievement test at 8 C in the first period and then I got two more periods at 8 C so I took the related topics Gas pressure which was based on Inquiry training model and factors affecting gas pressure. Even though I took 2 periods the students were very cooperative and supportive they made my class at ease with their active participation this approach of students made my day. Today my college principal Dr Renuka Sonny L R Maam visited  school.

On the thirty ninth day (03/09/2025)

I had class at 8 C and the topic was taught using Advance organizer model which was new approach of learning method for students they were actively engaged in the whole session and also had a class at 9 C and took the topic second law of motion which was quite interesting  since the learners had previous knowledge about Momentum and rate of change of Momentum introduction of the law was easier and learners were actively responding and cooperative throughout the session.They were enthusiastically involved in solving problems related to the topic.

On the fortieth day (04/10/2025), I had two classes at 9 C and took problems related to second law of motion and also took a class on the topic impulsive force and impulse of force the class went really well. Students were actively responding and solving question logically.Today I also conducted Diagnostic test at 8 C in the first period.In the free period  I cleaned the science lab and arranged the chemicals in the laboratory. Learners were cooperative and today I completed my  final lesson plan, completion of 40 lesson plan in phase 1 teaching practice.

CONCLUSION 

The working days in this  week was short. Even though the day were less but the experience was worth.Each day was filled with new and fresh experience which gave me more confidence and motivation for future classes.
