WEEKLY REFLECTION

INTRODUCTION
This was my eight week of school teaching practice. I reached school everyday on time and signed the attendance register. Other than curricular activities I took part in co-curricular activities and extracurricular activities.

22/09/2025
On September 22, I had class at 8 C and 8 B and took the topic ' Sonority, metallic luster and hardness ' from the chapter ' Metals and Non - metals ' in the first and fourth period respectively.

On September 23, I had class at 8 C and took the topic ' Manometer ' from the chapter ' Pressure ' in the third period.

24/09/2025
On September 24,I was absent from school because of an unexpected emergency.

25/09/2025
On September 25, I had class at 9 C and took the topic ' Rate of change of Momentum' from the chapter ' Laws of motion' in the third period.
26/09/2025
On September 26, the school remained closed as the District Collector declared a holiday for all schools in Thiruvananthapuram due to heavy rainfall.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
🧩I had class management at 6 C, 7 A, 5 B, 5 A and 8 C.
🧩I assisted science teacher for conducting JRC exam on 22/09/2025.
🧩On 22/09/2025 the school conducted Annual Science fair I took part in student management during exhibition.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
🧩I served Mid day meal in alternative days.
🧩Engaged students in 5 B and 7 A with games and talent show.
🧩Conducted general quiz at 6 C on the topic interesting science facts.
WEEKLY REFLECTION
On the thirty fourth day (22/09/2025).I had class at 8 B in the first period and this class was observed by my optional teacher Dr Reshmi K S ma'am and gave valuable suggestion and reviews about my class. And I took the same topic in 8 C as well in the fourth period the whole topic was covered based on learner doing activities. And on this day school conducted Annual science fair where the students showcased their scientific, technological and creative talent which was an amazing experience. The students are really talented, active and enthusiastic.
On the thirty fifth day (23/09/2025) I had class at 8 C and the topic was not so familiar to students but class was interesting because of their curiosity to learn a new thing. It was a fun filled class with their interesting doubts and their own explanation about the concept. The learners were interested in watching video related to manometer and was actively engaged in all activities.
On the thirty sixth day (25/09/2025)I took leave from the school due to an unexpected emergency.
On the thirty seventh day (26/09/2025)I had class at 9 C and the class went really well. And I had class management in different classes, it was fun to engage the students with games and Talent shows. The day was power packed with the students energy.
On the thirty eight day (27/09/2025)the school remained closed as the District Collector declared a holiday for all schools in Thiruvananthapuram due to heavy rainfall.
CONCLUSION
The week went really well. Like the previous week this week was also packed with new experiences like science fair and other activities. I was happy and proud because the students are really talented and creative. Each student is unique and have unique way of approaching things.
