WEEKLY REFLECTION

INTRODUCTION
This was my sixth week of school teaching practice. I reached school everyday on time and signed the attendance. Other than curricular activities I took part in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

On September 8,I had class at 8 C and took the topic 'Metals 'from the chapter 'Metals and non - Metals' in the fourth period.

On September 9, I had class at 8 C and took the topic 'Pressure 'from the chapter 'pressure 'in the fifth period.

On September 10,I had class at 8 C, and I took the topic 'Properties of Metals ( Malleability and Ductility ) 'from the chapter 'Metals and Non- Metals' in the second period.

WEEKLY REFLECTION
On the twenty fourth dayv (08/09/2025) I had class at 8 C. The class was interactive, engaging and interesting since they learned through a new method that is concept attainment model.The selection of CAM for taking Metals was an apt choice.
On the twenty fifth day (09/09/2025) I had class at 8 C. The topic was familiar to students since it was related to daily life situations so the introduction of lesson was easier. Including learner doing activities and peer group discussions found to be effect. Today I arranged the glass wares and apparatus in the science lab and also distributed rice for students from class 5 th to 8 th it was a new and exciting experience.
On the twenty Sixth day (10/09/2025), I had class at 8 C and took the topic Malleability and ductility. The class was interesting and learners were already familiar with the concept but was not aware about the terms so it was interesting and fun filled session.
On the twenty seventh day (11/09/2025),I had class at 9 C and took the topic Inertia. The class went really well and the learners were actively participating and was cooperative and timely completed all the activities timely. Today morning session the school conducted annual sports meet for hight school students I volunteered Students management and it was an interesting experience.
On the twenty eighth day (12/09/2025),I had class at 8 C and took the topic Measurement of pressure. And the class was good and the learners were actively participating in each activities.
CONCLUSION
The Week went really well. It was the second half of my phase one teaching practice. After the ten day onam vacation it felt like a fresh start and was really excited to meet my students again and take classes for them. The week was also filled with more extra and co-curricular activities like sports day, lab arrangement, rice distribution and distribution recordings. This week was full of new experiences and happy moments.
