WEEKLY REFLECTION
04/08/2025 to 08/08/2025 Govt. High School Kanyakulangara
INTRODUCTION
This was my fourth week of school teaching practice. I reached school everyday on time and signed attendance. Other than curricular activities I took part in co-curricular and extra curricular activities.

On August 4,I had class at 8 C and I took the topic ' Elements and Compounds ' from the chapter ' Elements and Compounds 'in the fifth period.

On August 5,I had class at 8 C and I took the topic ' Force ' form the chapter 'Motion and Force ' in the fourth period and Also took tje topic ' Symbols ' from the chapter ' Elements and Compounds ' in the Sixth period.

On August 6,I had class at 9 C and I took the topic 'Main Group Elements 'from the chapter 'Periodic Table ' in the second period.

On August 8, I had class at 8 C and I took the topic ' Frictional Force ' form the chapter ' Motion and Force' in the fourth period.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
I had class management at 6B, 5 A, 5 B and 6 A.I served mid day meal in alternative days
The school conducted an inaugural function for GOTECH (Global Opportunities Through English Education).program on 08/08/2025 friday 9.30 am I took part in the program for student management.
EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school had conducted an awareness program on war and its consequences as a part of Hiroshima day on 06/08/2025.I took part in the awareness program and conducted poster making competition regarding Hiroshima day.
The school had conducted School level sports meet for the academic year 2025 on 07/08/2025. I took part in student management,and also helped in giving instructions to students regarding the rules of events .
On the fourteenth day of teaching practice (04/08/2025),I had class at 8 C the class went well and I timely executed all activities timely. The learners were actively responding throughout the session. And got an opportunity to manage class at 5 A.
On fifteenth day of teaching practice (05/08/2025),I had class at 8 C and took the topic 'Force 'and it was my second teacher observation day, my optional teacher Dr Reshmi K S observed my class and gave valuable suggestions and reviews about my teaching and class management. After that I had another class at 8 C in the Sixth period and both the classes went really well.
On sixteenth day of teaching practice(06/08/2025) I had class at 9 C the class was interactive and the learners actively engaged in every activities. After that I had class management at 5 B it was really fun to be with them I helped them in making craft items using colour paper.
On the seventeenth day(07/08/2025) I had no classes but gor opportunity to be a part a sports management committee.
On the eighteenth day (08/08/2025)I had class at 8 C and the class was fun filled since the topic was really interesting for students the class was energy packed and the learners actively engaged in every activities.
CONCLUSION
This week was fun filled and entertaining. The learners were actively participating in learner doing activities this fuels me to give more such classes and I am looking forward to have new experiences in future classes and learning to improve as a better teacher every day.
